We are recruiting for an experienced therapist / nail technician to join our multi award winning salon established in 1993.

Based in Birmingham, the successful applicant will need an enviable amount of experience and be obsessive about customer service!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To offer an effective customer care service for all existing and new clients, ensuring the salon is performing to its full potential.

OVERVIEW:
  • To manage front of house, ensure the service provided to clients is of a high standard and adhere to the principles and good practice of the company.
  • To develop and sustain excellent customer relationships to secure customer loyalty.
  • To provide an excellent understanding of customer services ensuring that client problems or concerns are rectified to the satisfaction of the client.
  • To follow the correct procedure when dealing with client feedback and ensure that if the event of a complaint Head Office are notified immediately.
  • To manage the front of house, answering the phones, booking appointments and taking deposits.
  • To monitor and manage all staff ensuring the salon is staffed to the appropriate levels and running smoothly.
  • Ensure the salon is kept to the highest standard of tidiness and cleanliness at all times.
  • To communicate with Head Office regarding all matters related to the salon.
  • To actively encourage the team to support all promotional events and offers.
  • To promote the range of services available at the Salon in a customer focused manner.
  • To promote and sell the products within the Salon.
  • To lead in ensuring sales targets are met.
  • To analyse figures updating Head Office daily and also submitting weekly figures.
  • Monitor team performance and targets and help to motivate them and promote their achievements.
  • To provide an excellent role model for team members in all aspects of their duties.
  • To provide training guidance by sharing areas of expertise with other members of the team via Salon meeting.
  • To monitor, manage and train staff on customer service, answering the phones and booking appointments.
  • To support the development of the team by supporting their training needs.
  • To update Head Office and complete relevant training records regarding all training provided.
  • To lead weekly brief meetings in which all information is communicated to the team this would include the weaknesses and strengths and improvements to the salon.
  • To monitor and order stock required on a monthly basis to ensure that the salon is sufficiently stocked.
  • To carry out administrative duties and ensuring all paperwork is on time and completing correctly.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in carrying out all nail treatments including acrylic and shellac.
  • Excellent understanding of customer service with experience of dealing with problems and concerns and rectifying them to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Basic system knowledge and the ability to use a computer.
  • Effective communication skills and telephone manner, clear and concise at all levels.
  • The role would suit someone who is extremely hard working, self-motivated, friendly, committed, polite and courteous.
