RotheramCarrington Financial Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established organisation based in Crewe for a qualified Finance Manager to work within their Corporate division. You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA /CIMA) and will have excellent finance business partnering capability with experience of dealing with Operations. You will own the P&L for a sizeable business area and will be able to work in a fast paced and diverse environment.

As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and you will provide financial and critical analytical support to the business to ensure the organisation achieves the financial targets it has been set.

You will also be responsible for managing relationships with operations, finance and external business partners. You will have a proven record in maintaining strong business relationships.

The Role:

This role will provide variety and challenge and will be responsible for reviewing and analysing the financial results (P&L, balance sheet & cash flow). You will pro-actively challenge performance and drive change to ensure key operational and financial targets are achieved or beaten - add value, highlight risks and support development of mitigation plans by providing appropriate analysis and insight.

Job Details:
  • Provide accurate analysis and translation of key financial data Investigate opportunities as well as high risk and material financial issues, or problem areas, with the business
  • Develop and propose solutions and options to resolve / progress concerns to a satisfactory outcome
  • Evaluate commercial data effectively and communicate articulately to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and provide recommendations for new processes and ways of working. Pro-actively seek solutions to current or foreseeable issues.
  • Assist with the coordination and completion of the budget and forecasting submissions
  • To provide forward looking insight and challenge, adding demonstrable value through delivering business and
  • Commercial insights - acting as a catalyst for business change Support the Commercial Head of Finance in delivering the long-term financial strategy with a focus on driving value and strategic management of funding across all units
  • Review financial performance information and plans, including the annual budget and the division's monthly management accounts, to ensure they are robust and accurately reflect key business issues
  • Work pro-actively with key business partners and stakeholders to develop successful partnering relationships

  • ACA/ACCA//CIMA Qualified
  • Previous experience in a business partnering role, possibly someone who is looking to step up into a senior business partnering role or someone who is making their first or second move from practice
  • Excellent Excel & analytical skills
  • Excellent communicate at all levels, with the ability to influence and recommend objective spend plans

  • £45,000 to £50,000 per annum plus car allowance
