Customer Service Manager

Main Purpose of the Job:

Provide frontline leadership. Recruit, manage, develop, and motivate the field-based engineering team. Set and deliver service targets as agreed with Service Director. Provide pro-active customer service and deliver on both customer and Linde KPIs.

Represent Contract Management in Scotland, visit National Key Accounts customers on a regular basis and attend customer review meetings.

This role will be reporting to the Service Director

Main Duties:

* Ensure Health and Safety standards are met and maintained

* Work in conjunction with National account peers; monitor, control and develop contract profitability

* Support the national accounts sales team and contract management team in constructing and presenting new deal proposals & deal with all customer complaints and/or queries assigned to you

* Manage customer service delivery at all levels

* Ensure all commercial opportunities with new and existing customers are maximised and targets met

* Manage engineering performance and ensure all engineers have the necessary skills and training to perform well

* Develop and provide weekly and monthly management reports against agreed criteria and measures

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a materials handling service background with experience of managing a team of people. They will also have strong customer facing skills where the ability to develop successful external and internal relationships is an absolute necessity.

This role requires excellent organisation and cooperation skills. The individual will also need to have excellent time management and will need to be a good communicator. Key to this role is the ability to proficiently use all MS Office packages.
