As the Group Finance Director, you will be joining a highly successful and driven family owned business who have a global customer base selling into over 22 countries with global revenues of over £50m. Reporting and working directly with the Managing Director you will be responsible for all the financial strategy, activities and resources to achieve profitable and stable growth in line with the business plan, whilst implementing risk mitigation.

The Group Finance Director key responsibilities include:

Lead tight collaboration across the executive team, setting and controlling divisional and management budgets
Educate and support all divisions and the greater organisation to drive profitability
Instil operational financial partnering activities into all departments to develop and cost control culture
Design and implement a financial strategy in line with the business plan and business direction of the group and divisions of
Present business performance, outlook, risks / opportunities to the exec team and key stakeholders, taking appropriate actions
Be responsible for the monthly reporting packs for all divisions
Lead quarterly forecast and budget cycles, working closely with all departments and execs for data collection and analysis
Measure, collate and analyse all KPIs and data that contributes to the group
Direct economic analyses, studies and counsel on all matters of potentially significant financial impact on the divisions and group
Be responsible for the accurate management and internal controls of the company's general ledger, payables, receivables, stocks, assets, cash flow forecasts and payroll
Be responsible for the timeliness accuracy financial closing processes in accordance with UK GAAP and group policies and prepare the appropriate statutory reporting
Implement and maintain controls and relationships with all financial and legal 3rd parties and stakeholders
Manage legal contracts
Contribute in full to the current business plan strategy, influencing key decisions using facts and innovationIllustate a high level of understanding of ERP system and data analysis
Experience and skills for Group Finance Director

CIMA, ACCA or ACA accounting qualification
Extensive proven senior financial management experience within similar revenues and size
Have a proven track record in Financial Management within a physical product trading organisation
Proven leadership skills with a collaborative style
Be a self-driven leader with excellent technical and analytical skills with a keen eye and attention to detail
Be able to illustrate ownership and high standards
Demonstrate a hands-on approach with excellent communication and presentation skills
A high standard of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
A high standard of accounting programs ideally Sage Payroll and Sage forecasting
Illustate a high level of understanding of ERP system and data analysisWhat's in it for you?
