About the role

Our Finance team are at the heart of the business and play a crucial role within Prophecy Unlimited, providing technically sound financial management information that informs operational and strategic decisions, supporting us here in Bristol, as well as the wider Unlimited Group Finance team.

As our new Finance Manager, you will provide senior level financial, operational and commercial support to our Head of Finance. This is a proactive role and we are looking for solution drivers, fresh thinkers; you'll be self-motivated and looking to continue building your career, in a fun and fast paced team.

Join us as our new Finance Manager and we'll look to you to:
  • Manage all client financials, in line with agency policies, procedures and contracts
  • Complete monthly P+L reporting packs, forecasts, business performance metrics
  • Work collaboratively with the client service teams, providing guidance and acting as a natural extension of the team
  • Review P+L against forecast
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, completing report packs
  • Approve AP payments, and client estimates
  • Review and check and sign off monthly payroll, pension contributions, expenses etc.
  • Assist Group SSC with quarterly VAT returns, business reporting and annual audit

To join us as our Finance Manager, you'll need:
  • Prior experience in a similar level position, either at Finance Manager or Senior Accountant level
  • Ideally you will be recently qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACCA with demonstrable post qualification experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong systems experience to include advanced Excel
  • Hands on, and work with a positive energy, you'll be a team player through and through
  • Experience in a creative/marketing, or similarly fast paced environment would be great
