Full Time
Software Implementation Consultant with accounting / finance experience for the finance modules of ERP solutions; you will get cross training to 2 mid-sized ERP solutions and will learn some additional modules to the accounting aspects. You will have experience implementing accounting software and will be able to talk knowledgeably to FD's about their business requirements. You can be based anywhere in the UK; Reading is just a marker point. Clients are UK wide and there will be travel to client sites. Salary to £55k plus car allowance and benefits.

Strong experience of implementing accounting / finance software solutions is essential. Formal accounting qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or FCCA are desirable or if you are a QBE accountant, qualified or part-qualified, this would also be beneficial. So this role is for a Software Consultant or Systems Accountant who has perhaps had a previous career or training in accountancy and finance.

They are looking for someone who has spent 3 years or more working with finance systems doing full life cycle implementations of accounting software. Ideally you will have worked with mid-market solutions such as Sage 200, Coda, Infor SunSystems, Sage 500, UNIT4 Agresso, OpenAccounts, Dynamics NAV, PS Financials, SAP Business ByDesign, NetSuite, Epicor, Access Accounts, IFS, Intact, Dynamics GP, SAP Business One, Dynamics AX or similar.

You will be joining a very successful software consultancy of around 80 people, with a strong management and consulting team. They work with ERP and Field Service software solutions, but this role is primarily based on the accounting and finance modules. As a Finance Implementation Consultant here, you will be based from home with regular days on client site and some nights away.

You will gather and document customer requirements, conduct workshops, configure the solution to best meet these needs, test, and manage the software implementation from cradle to grave, hand hold and train the end users and manage expectations through the process. You will be analytical, well organised, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal and client facing skills.

This is a solid, busy role with a company that has a remarkably low staff turnover; you will work with a great team of Finance and ERP Implementation Consultants who knowledge share and work very well as a team.

Ideally you will be a qualified or part qualified accountant (or QBE) with strong functional experience of software implementations of accounting / finance software.
