REED Accountancy are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business located in Bamber Bridge.

We are recruiting for this position due to an internal promotion, and my client is looking to secure their new Payroll Clerk as soon as they can.

The duties of the role will include;
  • Dealing with all Payroll Administration duties for starters and leavers
  • Handle Payroll Administration duties including data entry, filing and reporting
  • Answering payroll queries via telephone and email
  • Checking and updating payroll reports in line with monthly deadlines
  • Updating time keeping records to produce monthly reports
  • Generating monthly invoices
  • Processing payments on the system
  • Recording and reviewing weekly private mileage, ensuring the necessary checks are completed reporting any discrepancies to the Payroll Manager

The ideal candidate should have:
  • A keen eye for attention to detail while being able to handle workload accordingly and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Very well organised, enthusiastic and a team player.
  • Adaptable to change, thorough, flexible and resilient whilst remaining accurate and helpful whilst working under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and being comfortable with computer systems

In return, our client is offering a starting salary of up to £22,000 per annum,

28 days holiday incl statutory holidays, pension contribution scheme, free parking, new modern offices.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility
