£45,000 negotiable + performance bonuses, PHI, pension

My client is a medium sized and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Eastbourne. They provide a range of services to a variety of businesses using cloud-based systems and, as a Manager, you will report to the senior management team, manage a mixed portfolio of clients plus a team of juniors.

The Company
The vacancy has arisen due to succession planning and internal promotion and therefore it is an ideal time for a new Manager to make an impression and get earmarked for promotion to the senior management team.

The Role
They are now offering a qualified ACA or ACCA with a public practice background an opportunity to join their successful team and help to ensure continued expansion. Reporting to the senior management team and directors, you will be required to:
  • Advise, coach, mentor and support team members
  • Understand and meet client expectations, identify and resolve problems and maintain regular client contact
  • Work with directors to grow the client portfolio
  • Apply technical expertise in accounting, tax and audit for a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare tax computations and complete tax returns and submissions to HMRC
