Senior Accounts Administrator - Crewe - 19k to 24k (14 months FTC)
This role is a 14 month FTC

Summary
The Senior Finance Assistant's role will be to assist with the undertaking of related accounts administration and to support the Finance Manager in delivering efficient financial management.

Your new company

You will be working for an award winning SME design and manufacturing business based in Crewe. The company have been established for over 30 years and have expanded their product within the UK, Europe and America.

Your new role

Reporting to the finance manager and the commercial team you will be responsible for the following points:
Complete ownership for all areas of responsibility
* Administrative tasks including accounts payable and receivable
* Collating budget expenditure information
* Performing payroll duties including record weekly timesheets, holiday forms & records and sickness records
* Taking responsibility for filing CIS and payments of PAYE to HMRC
* Undertaking research into pricing and monitoring cash flow expenditure
* Closing project documents
* Reconciling petty cash accounts, expenses and floats
* Gathering and analysing data
* Assisting with general office and administrative duties
* Compiling relevant performance statistics and providing information, as required, to the Finance Manager.
* Monitor monthly nominal spend, budgets, energy costs and monitor phone bills
* Carrying our any other tasks as may be reasonably required.

Requirements

* Experience of working in a busy accounts/ office environment
* Acute attention to detail with commercial awareness
* Good team work and communication skills both oral and written
* Organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work
* Adaptable and flexible
* IT and numeracy skills including Microsoft Office
* Excellent time management skills
* Self-motivated and ability to use own initiative when working alone
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

The client is looking for the right candidate to have excellent communications skills and have the drive to help the team. You will need to show that you have the correct finance skills ideally within an all-round SME business.

Benefits

Salary up to 19k - 24k (experience dependant), Hours: 9am - 5pm (30 min lunch) Monday to Friday. Holidays are 20 days per annum plus bank holidays.
