Site Buyer

Mon-Fri (Early finish on Fri)

Competitive Salary

Up to 10% Matching Pension

Main Purpose of Job

To coordinate and manager all purchasing activities on site, including PO administration, KPI monitoring and reporting, contract negotiation, identification of new suppliers and identification of cost saving opportunities.

To achieve the best total cost position for all external spend, the lowest sourcing risks, best supplier performances, ensuring highest efficiency of the business.

(b) Money and Materials (ie. Turnover, Added Value, Budgets, Payrolls, etc.)

Significant Internal and External Relationships IE. Subordinates, Superior(S), OTHER Contacts.

·Plant Manager

·Departmental Managers

·All departments within AFSR Leicester



·Experience procurement professional who has or is working towards a degree/CIPS qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Must have both administration and strategic purchasing experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing organisation as well as a strong negotiator who is determined.
