Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance is exclusively partnered with a charitable organisation based in Edinburgh City Centre. Our client is looking for a professional and hardworking Finance Officer on a permanent basis to join their team.

Your new role
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, as Finance Officer you will be responsible for posting purchase invoices to the purchase ledger, posting bank receipts and bank payments, initiating bank payments, posting petty cash transactions and reconciling and posting expense claims and credit card transactions. You will also be responsible for helping ensure the charity has robust finance policies and procedures in place and ensuring they are consistently implemented by staff. You will also ensure the smooth running of their payroll system.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role, where you're comfortable working in a small team. You will also ideally have Sage line 50 experience as well as worked for a charitable organisation before, however this is not essential.
