MEGAMAC is quickly becoming the leading company for all things Apple in the UK. We are an e-commerce business that sells consumer electronics and specialise in user centric design and the latest technology. We work from a vibrant co-working space with excellent transport links near Old Street in Central London. The office has a gym and showers, bike storage, free refreshments and a programme of social events. Typical working hours are 9am - 5pm.

Our founder, Jonathan Clarke, previously worked at a number of financial institutions in the City before deciding to carve his own path. Jonathan is a King's College alumni, computer scientist and tech enthusiast.

Position Summary

We are expanding our digital marking strategy to add video content which we will feature on Youtube, Instagram and Facebook. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in technology and some previous experience in presenting, filming and editing to be the face of Megamac.

Core Responsibilities
  • Create branded, attention-grabbing content for mobile and digital platforms
  • Produce all video content, ranging from how-to videos, product walk throughs, announcements, interviews
  • Work with the marketing team on the overall brand strategy and how to best utilise content
  • Take ownership of all video content for social media channels
  • Manage the growth and development of the brands voice
  • Putting together creative briefs and follow through to completion

The Ideal Candidate
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Upbeat, positive, personable, engaging.
  • Confident talking to camera.
  • Demonstrable experience producing, shooting and editing video content for Youtube, Instagram stories and social media in general
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
  • Some technical proficiency and the curiosity to learn more
  • Considerable knowledge about Apple and product rage
  • Confident talking about Apple related consumer electronics
  • Someone who gets excited about watching an Apple keynote presentation
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Pro-active, a fast learner and not afraid to try new things
  • Passionate about new ideas, with a keen interest in culture and technology
  • Adaptable and open to a start up working environment
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Recently graduated, masters student or final year student.

Salary & Hours
