Job Description - Technical Delivery Manager (190003YF)Job Description Technical Delivery Manager 190003YFThe Role An experienced Project Manager is required to join Information Management team at Willis Towers Watson (WTW). Information Management are responsible for the definition, planning and delivery of the Corporate Risk and Broking Data Strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key part in the transformation of a global financial services organisation.Proactive Engagement with all stakeholders throughout the Solution Delivery Life Cycle to ensure a full end to end delivery has been implemented Build effective working relationships with business and technology stakeholdersFacilitate a collaborative team environment across all areas of business and technologyLead project delivery teams providing clear project structure, direction and prioritisationWork within the Project Delivery Framework following Project Management best practice and governanceCreation and maintenance of project artefacts (e.g. Project Initiation Document, Project Plans, Risk Log etc.) to support project deliveryEnsure the proposed solutions meet the stakeholders needs whilst complying with WTW Group Strategic Architectural, Security and Compliance guidelinesWork with fellow Project Managers to manage inter project dependenciesProduce regular, concise and accurate progress reports to project stakeholdersEffectively manage, resolved and escalate Risks, Issues and DependenciesFacilitate project estimation including timelines and resources/skill sets required for both new and change requests within active projectsEnsure applications are fully transitioned to Service Management Accountable for Change Request management including impact assessment. The Requirements Experience of managing full IT project lifecycle from idea to through to hand-over to operational supportProven experience of both waterfall and agile delivery methods and understanding appropriate applications of each Ability to engage with business and technology stakeholders at all levels, both on and off shore, and across various geographies / time-zonesAbility to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to report on progress against agreed deliverables and to highlight/escalate any issues or barriers to deliveryAbility to manage multiple projects and releases concurrentlyWorked in a regulated industry, complying with corporate governance standardsProduction and maintenance of key project management artefacts including Project Plan, RAID, Financials, Management Reporting, Resource Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, RACI etc.DesirablePreviously worked in a financial services organisation, ideally insuranceAPMP or Prince2 qualifiedDelivery of Data projects including Data Warehouses, Cloud Migrations, Business Intelligence Delivered projects using various agile methodologies such as Scrum, KanBan, ScrumBanExperience of leading delivery teams new to Agile through an Agile project deliveryFacilitation and coordination of business/user requirements gathering experience from key stakeholders and end usersMicrosoft VSTS/Azure Dev Ops knowledge.Equal opportunity employer Job: Project Management Primary Location: United Kingdom-England-Ipswich Other Locations: United States-Tennessee-Nashville Schedule: Full-time
