Role - Clinical Helpline Tele-Advice Professional - Deferred Team

Location - Pewsey, Wiltshire

Working pattern - full time - 37.5hrs/week

Contract - 6 months

Salary - £35,000 pro-rated


Team24 are working with one of the largest outsourcing partners in the UK. We are supporting them to find a Clinical Helpline Tele-Advice Professional. The role is at Pewsey, Wiltshire. You will be involved in providing advice to candidates that might be able to continue their recruitment journey in joining the British Army.

The role is suitable for Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists or Community Psychiatric Nurses.

You will be interacting with motivated recruits as well being part of the team behind the British Army recruitment process. It is an exciting working environment - you will be challenged!

You will be fully trained in the medical policy requirements of the British Army and speak to candidates whose mix of factors could exclude them from moving forward to join.

What is involved?

Speaking to candidates in a sympathetic manner and explain in layman terms regarding their circumstances in relation to the medical policy.
Explain that further evidence from primary care centres is required to strengthen their case.
Liaise with a range of Army and related teams ensuring they are up to date on your caseload.
Keep the positive reputation of the British Army so any outcomes does not impact negatively.
Follow protocols so candidate's mental health is not affected by the final outcome of their application.Your Skills

Co-operating with and respecting colleagues to create a positive working culture.
Listening, expressing and articulating information effectively.
Achieving and optimising results using SMART processes.
Qualified Healthcare Professional with at least 5 years' experience post NMC/HCPC registration.
Current NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of as a team.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy.The team reflects
