Bruckshaw Associates are exclusively partnering with our specialist manufacturing client in Cirencester to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant. Due to continued growth they are now looking to add to their well established finance team. Working closely alongside the finance manager in a varied and interesting role your main responsibilities will be as listed below.

Role and responsibilities:

You will be in charge of accurately maintaining both the Sales and Purchase ledger, dealing with queries related to this, Credit Control, Bank Reconciliations, assisting with Journals completing accruals and pre payments, VAT returns and any other ad hoc tasks as requested by the finance manager.

Experience/skillset required:

Although not essential you will ideally be AAT qualified or close to completion. Have experience of a similar role in a busy environment, be willing to go that extra mile and understanding that in a small team such as this you will be required to do additional tasks. Strong IT skills, ideally have experience of a cloud based accounting package. Excellent attention to detail.
