Omega are delighted to be partnering with a fast growing Network Security organisation based in Basingstoke.

They continue to build both point and end-to-end solutions that protect their customer's networks and businesses while continually expanding their knowledge to meet the evolving IT security challenge.

They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to manage their Finance function in a stand alone capacity. It will require someone who is flexible in their approach and can communicate with Directors, Managers, Customers and various other stakeholders.

This is rare and exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business in a key role that will genuinely add value and contribute to the our success.

Main duties will include:

Supplier Accounts including adding and amending, process purchase orders, reconcile statements, raising payments and remittances

Customer Accounts including adding and amending, setting up new and ensuring credit checks are completed, invoicing, statements and credit control

Cash flow and Banking including checks, banking payments, reconciliations and cash flow forecasting

Salaries and Expenses including managing employees expense claims, managing the employee payroll, associated checks and payments and liaising with the payroll bureau and relevant bodies.

Accounting Tasks including cost of Sales Matching, COS accruals, overhead accruals, payments

VAT preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns

Other tasks month end journals, preparing monthly, quarterly and year end P&L and Balance Sheets, Variance Analysis, Aged Debtors/Creditor reporting, cash flow forecast and cost budgets/sales forecasts for review with the Directors.

Experience required:
  • A background working in a similar position in mid-tier businesses (£6M-12M).
  • Experience working within Technology/ Managed services/ Network security would be desirable.
  • Ability to work in a stand alone role, managing the finance function up to trial balance.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • Experienced in working closely with key stakeholders including MD/CEO level.
  • Experience in Sage50c desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills
