Information Security Manager - £45,000 - £55,000 - York

An Information Security Manager / Office (ISO) with experience around ISO 27001 is needed to join a growing software business in their York offices.

Working for a small but growing organisation that work with Enterprise financial businesses UK wide this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a role where they can make a real impact and really own the Security side to a company, help grow and shape it within its infancy.

Additionally the role can allow someone to really progress and develop in the InfoSec space and they can consider those that maybe have experience in other ISO areas and not just ISO:27001

The Role:

- You will manage the information security management system and be responsible for all aspects of the IT security across the business, reporting to the Head of IT.
- You will help obtain and look after the ongoing compliance of ISO 27001:2017 and manage the annual certification audits.
- You will co-ordinate the annual Cyber Essentials Plus certification audit.
- You will be the key driver in helping the business with security as they continue to grow - having recommendations on how to stay on top of everything in this area.
- You will look at the existing processes and help progress and streamline them bringing in and introducing new policies

Skills & Experience Required:

- You must have experience in a similar role where you have experience of ISO certifications (audits - obtaining)
- You must have experience working within an SME sized business, you will work in a flexible way and come up with different solutions that fit the business
- You will be confident in your ability to work with senior stakeholders and C suite business leaders to help in putting together and continuing to develop the security practises for the business
- You will be a friendly, approachable and well organised person - integration within the team is key
- Any experience with Cloud (Azure / O365) will be a distinct advantage
