My client, a leading Financial Services provider based in the North East of England, is seeking a Branch Manager for their growing community network.

The main purpose of their branch is the provision of savings and mortgage accounts underpinned by solid Financial Advice for those who live in and around branch locations, that are spread right across the North Yorkshire, North East, Cumbria and the Scottish borders.

A priority for the network is maintaining great relationships with both existing and potential customers through maintaining regular customer engagement and being there to help them understand and address their ever-changing financial needs.


Manage and lead the branch team to consistently adopt a proactive and positive approach with customers, showing enthusiasm for the company vision, policies and priorities in order to achieve the required business result.

Take personal ownership in applying the branch needs process, suggesting options customers may consider and qualifying leads for the relevant advice specialists.

Develop community relationships within the branch area to raise the profile of the branch and NBS.

Ensure that you personally meets all legislative, audits, code of practice and internal control requirements. Take responsibility for the oversight of cash management within the branch.

Skills and Experience

As a Branch Manager you will be leading a successful team that provides 1st class customer service.

You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to motivate and lead from the front. Your leadership and Customer Service skills will result in your team maintaining the high levels of customer satisfaction and customer advocacy we strive for. A proven ability to lead a team that delivers the high standards we require is essential.

You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be an effective communicator.
