£21,000 - £24,000

Sf Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic corporate business based in south Leicester. This company have a vacant position for a Business Analyst to join their Finance team. Working as a key member of the team you will take the lead in the delivering of reports, both routine and ad hoc, this is a key role supporting with the administration of invoicing to the client; operational reporting and analysis.

The Junior Business/Finance Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Prepare monthly performance reports against contractual or other agreed targets.
  • Support the Operational Reporting and Analysis Manager with preparation for regular Client and Internal reviews on performance & Projects.
  • Prepare analysis to drive operation decisions as part of Project support; or queries from the Client or Internal Leadership team.
  • Co-ordination of supporting information and data for invoicing the Client.
  • Prepare monthly Client invoices within specified timescales, processes and in line with contractual and other Client agreements.
  • Coordinate response to the Client on open queries to ensure Invoices are paid.
  • Maintain commercial tracker spreadsheet with all invoicing and SSR activity, producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc report to ensure all activities are correctly billed.
  • Assist the Operational Reporting and Analysis Manager with the review of additional funding requirements from the Client.

The Junior Business/Finance Analyst will have following experience:
  • Be logical and methodical with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical skills - this is a 'numbers' role.
  • Excel at intermediate level or higher.
  • Good (with a desire to improve) or excellent analytical abilities, including financial analysis.
  • Ability to develop positive, trusting relationships across teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance).
  • Good communication skills, written, verbal and face-to-face.
  • Desire to understand operational processes and services.
  • An ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well on own initiative.
