Job Title: Management Assessor / IQA

Location: South West of England- Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:
  • Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
  • Hold a recognised Internal Verifier award: D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4.
  • Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Management up to Level 5 (Standards).
  • Must hold solid occupational competency in Management.
  • Must be comfortable with and have experience of group based training and delivery.
  • Full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
IQA Duties:

  • Internal Verification / Quality Assurance of CMI Management qualifications at levels 3 and 5.
  • Support the Assessment team to ensure they understand the standards and assessment requirements.
  • Develop, update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
  • Drive and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide support and carry out observations to ensure an outstanding level of assessment, teaching and learning is achieved.
  • Implement action plans to ensure Assessors are delivering training to a high standard, and CPD is up to date.
  • Contribute to standardisation meetings.
  • Writing reports and maintaining records using information systems.
  • Assist in the planning and running of external quality assurance and compliance visits.
Assessor Duties:
  • Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship Standards in Management at levels 3 and 5, to a reduced caseload of learners.
  • Deliver training and additional support for Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT up to level 2.
  • As part of the Higher Apprenticeship delivery you will conduct study group and 1-1 sessions with Managers, sharing experiences, leading informal / professional discussions and exploration of latest leadership trends.
  • Record professional discussions on specific units / topics based on knowledge, independent research and reflective accounts.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.
