The position is based in the EMEA Headquarters in Stockley Park, Uxbridge and will report to the Executive Director and Head of Marketing, Kite Pharmaceuticals Europe. In EMEA Cell Therapy currently operates under both the Gilead and Kite Pharmaceuticals brands.This role will involve extensive cross-functional collaboration within the EMEA region and affiliates to ensure effective development, implementation and delivery of EMEA Brand Strategy & tacticsJob duties include:Closely supports brand leads in the development and implementation of brand specific strategies & tacticsWorks alongside European cross-functional colleagues to develop and produce compliant promotional materials aligned with EMEA strategyManages agency relationships to develop promotional deliverablesSupports congress lead with planning and execution to ensure leadership presence at key EU congressesUtilizes high level of business acumen in analyzing and coordinating activities from identified industry trends, competitor's resources and practices across EMEAEnsures alignment with the US and/or Global Marketing teamEnsures all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirementsManages the marketing budget and project timelinesDrives excellence in commercial effortsEnsures performance tracking/monitoring, including any required action planningKnowledge, Experience and Skills:Analytical thinkerComfortable with the scienceCollaborates and works well across teamsDemonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to flawlessly execute under pressureRequires a university degree and demonstrated experience within the pharmaceutical/ healthcare industry to include familiarity with marketing/sales strategy and tacticsDemonstrated track record of successful product launches and/or sustained commercial growthCandidate will preferably have recent hematology/oncology experience (Cell Therapy experience a plus)Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skillsAbility to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among multiple cross functional teams.Ability to analyze complex issues, execute sound judgment and make decisionsIn-depth ability to work with external agencies, including advertising, public relations and medical education vendors to develop programs and materials is requiredAbility to develop, maintain, and utilize a high level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Cell Therapies to opinion leaders.Excellent and demonstrable command of written and spoken English and proficiency at communicating verbally and in written form.Experience to include strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policies and practiceBehaviors:Resilient profile with the ability to deliver in an ambiguous environmentAbility to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the objectiveCurious with learning agilityOperationally excellentOrganised with systematic approach to prioritizationKite is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development of innovative cancer immunotherapies with a goal of providing rapid, long-term durable response and eliminating the burden of chronic care.
