Payroll Administrator Role - 4 week Contract - Temp to Perm opportunity - Central Edinburgh

Due to growth within the firm, an immediate need has arisen within the Payroll Department in the Edinburgh firm (located in the city centre) to work as a Payroll Administrator.

Your new role
You will be joining the Payroll bureau team, which is responsible for around 245 payroll clients ranging in size form 1 employee to 350 employees with varying pay frequencies. You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, processing their payroll form start to finish on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis dependent on the client. You will be completing payroll reviews before issuing to clients, and will be working directly with clients. You will assist with business development projects and internal procedure reviews and development.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience processing high-volume complex payrolls. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You will be adhering to strict deadlines, so must be able to work well under pressure. Knowledge of Iris (Star) payroll and Xero payroll would be beneficial, but not essential.
