Are you looking for work local to you in the area of Cheshire? If so, please keep on reading to find out more about our company, what cover work entails and any availabilities we have.

Bespoke Education Ltd is an educational recruitment company. Our office is based within Liverpool City Centre; however, we work with several areas, including Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Chorley, Leyland and East and West Cheshire. Our consultant has over 14 years of experience within this industry and over that time has built up excellent relationships with our clients, so you will always be in safe hands with Bespoke Education!

Here at Bespoke Education we are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors within the Cheshire area. You will be required to work within different schools around Cheshire on a supply basis; this will vary from day to day ad hoc cover to long stints, depending on the needs of our clients and your current situation. Cover Supervisor work is when you are needed to cover the class and ensure they complete the work the students have been set due to a teacher absence; you won't be required to teach the class as such. The role of Cover Supervisor is good for those who are wanting a career in the education sector and are looking to gain some experience before enrolling onto the PGCE course or someone who is wanting a change in their career and wants to test the waters before throwing themselves in. This is also ideal if you have just completed your PGCE course and are struggling to find work or are wanting more classroom experience. Perhaps you're a qualified teacher but are wanting to be able to leave work at work and take some pressure off, this could be a good way of remaining in the sector you love but without the stress. This is an amazing opportunity for all, so please apply now to begin your registration process.

For Cover Supervisor work we usually pay £60-£70 per day; this is purely dependent on the school, how far you're travelling, your ability and experience. Before any placement you will receive all the details, such as rate of pay, school name, hours you will be working, etc. so you can decide if you wish to accept or not. The main responsibility you will have as a Cover Supervisor is ensuring that the work environment is calm, and all students are getting on with their set work. You will need to be confident in front of a class and dealing with any behaviour issues that may arise. Your age range will mainly be 11 to 16, as KS5 students tend not to get Cover Supervisors. There is always a great demand for Cover Supervisors, and we work with most schools in Cheshire so you will not be shy of work through our agency! We always have a lot of great opportunities and the turnaround for our agency is incredible.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • You hold a degree or an educational equivalent (desirable, but not essential)
  • You have previous experience working with children, classroom-based would be ideal but other vocational work will be considered
  • You possess a valid and current DBS, if not we can process one for you
  • You are passionate about working with children and feel you can make a positive difference
  • You have good classroom management skills and believe you deal with discipline issues in a firm but fair way
  • You work well in a team but are confident in using your own initiative

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Supervising the students and ensuring they complete set work
  • Maintaining a calm and constructive working environment
  • Recording attendance in accordance with the school policy
  • Following school safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Following the school behavioural policy

In return Bespoke Education can offer:
  • Commitment to quality and safeguarding
  • A fast clearance process
  • Outstanding rates of pay, with both PAYE and Umbrella Company options available
  • Work tailored to your needs
  • Dedicated consultant with 14 years' experience (available 24/7)

If you're interested in this type of work, then please apply now and we will be in touch shortly to discuss available opportunities and the next steps for registering with our company.
