We have a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Finance & Information who will be responsible for controlling the financial and information technology departments and acting as Company Secretary to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of circa £65,000 per annum.

Response Organisation is one of the largest mental health charities in Oxfordshire that provides housing and a range of support for people that experience severe and enduring mental health needs.

The Director of Finance & Information role is a senior role within the organisation, responsible for strategic management of the finance function - with a clear focus upon providing appropriate management accounts, budgets and forecasts to manage the finances of Response.

Some of the core duties of our Director of Finance & Information will include:

- Ensuring effective financial controls and developing financial processes which includes: Leading the team in documenting, assessing, developing and maintaining internal financial controls, Ensuring continuous improvement in financial policies, processes, systems and system use.

Delivering financial plans and budgets which includes: Delivering long term and annual budgets for the organisation, including the I&E account, capital expenditure and cash flow, agreeing the targets and approach with board as well as generating regular reforecasts for the I&E account, capital expenditure and cash.

- Delivering statutory accounting and other external reporting which includes: Leading the Finance Team in preparing the statutory accounts and financial section of the annual review in line with regulatory and legal requirements, Managing the year end process and interaction with external auditors.

- Managing and developing the finance and payroll team which includes: Managing and supporting the Finance and Payroll Team in line with Response policies and procedures, Setting team and individual objectives to meet organisational aims
