Job Title: Managed Services Manager - Apprenticeships

Location: Home / field based

Salary: £37,800 - £42,000 (Dependent on experience)

The Role:

Responsible for the management and coordination of a managed service offering, for the delivery of Apprenticeships and high-quality training programmes, for an employer provider contract.
  • Responsible for the implementation, performance, quality and successful delivery of the managed service offering.
  • Manage the employer provider relationship and strategic development of programme
  • Working with the operations manager and apprenticeship team to ensure delivery of high-quality training programmes; robust processes, quality and compliance; and maximisation of performance and targets.
  • Ensure the managed service offering meets and/or exceeds expectations.
  • Engage and develop relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure business and programme success.
  • Carry out regular 1-1's and performance manage the delivery team. Address any under-performance and set out clear corrective actions for improvement.
  • Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of the company's strategic objectives and vision.
  • Support delivery teams to plan for EPA
  • Support development of SAR and QIP
  • Identify and escalate any problems with delivery to senior management
  • Produce regular forecasts/reports for Directors on performance and attend review meetings

Essential Criteria
  • Must hold recognised Internal Verifier qualification: V1, D34, D32, D33, TAQA, CAVA
  • Experience of working in a senior management role for the management of Apprenticeship programmes
  • Proven experience of managing client relationships for the successful delivery of apprenticeships programmes
  • Excellent influencer who has strong skills in stakeholder engagement
  • Strong leadership and management skills with proven experience of performance managing delivery teams
  • Consistent experience of successfully achieving objectives and performance targets within the Apprenticeship industry
  • Knowledge and experience of Apprenticeships, Standards, OFSTED requirements, Funding Streams and ESFA compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
