Butler Rose, a specialist finance agency within the Oxfordshire market is currently supporting the recruitment for a successful global business based near Didcot Oxfordshire.

Partnering with the International Vice President to recruit a Finance Systems Manager, we are currently seeking an applicant who will support the Group Finance team and assist with both supporting and maintaining the finance systems as well as day-to-day operational tasks to help deliver team objectives.

You will look to lead the systems accounting team and will be working closely with financial control, commercial finance, business intelligence, IT, operations and supply chain teams, to include, Management of the Group's Finance systems, including but not limited to: SAP, Enterprise reporting cube, renewal base cube, Cognos planning. Build a detailed knowledge of the systems that make up the reporting environment and advise on the impact of changes and be the in-function subject matter expert on all finance systems.

The Finance Systems Manager will lead on the improvement of the finance systems and help see those improvements through to fruition, in terms of proposing, specifying, testing and supporting new initiatives and projects. You will be involved in planning, blueprinting, testing and implementing major changes and updates to key systems used by the Group. Working within a global function you will be in contact with overseas offices on a regular basis interfacing with dispersed teams to ensure their system needs are met.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting and successful company who are looking for a senior leader to work very closely with the IT development team in connection with enhancements to the finance systems. The successful applicant will be the primary point of contact within Finance for the IT department.

Skills requirements
* Qualified accountant or QBE with excellent understand of finance
* Detailed knowledge of SAP and a BI/DW environment
* Highly IT literate
* Experience of a financial accounting and reporting environment
* Excellent communication skills / inter-personal skills and influencing skills
* Ability to work closely with IT and third-party suppliers
* Strong excel and data analysis skills
* Ability to handle multiple work streams and prioritise accordingly
* Self-motivated and wishing to make a difference, with a track record of achievements
* Able to build good working relationships within and outside of the department, including with overseas colleagues
