Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Eye

Do you have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline paired with proven experience of an engineering and building services maintenance background in a complex and variety of building types?

Maintenance Engineer - Main Responsibilities:

- To monitor, repair and replace controls equipment to building management system

- To follow Planned Preventative Maintenance regime for Electrical/Mechanical equipment and undertake minor works as required

- To provide Technical assistance to Team Leader for Electrical/Mechanical problems encountered on site

- Calibration and commissioning of equipment to Standard Operating Procedures, keeping accurate records at all times

- Act as a member of the out of hour's call-out team

- To liaise with other departments when working on plant or equipment which may cause disruption ensuring that department personnel are informed prior to work commences

- Work to relevant Company SOP's

- Observe safety regulations when carrying out work with regard to self and others

- Manage sub-contractors through disruption of services

- Completing internal work requests on building integrity and infrastructure

Maintenance Engineer - Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

- Qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines to O/HNC level

Experience

- A time served Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in relevant Mechanical or Electrical discipline

- A Detailed working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical services to incorporate;

- Working safely with Steam

- HWS related plant and equipment

- Air Handling systems

- Knowledge of refrigeration systems

- Health & Safety awareness

- Working Knowledge of Building Management systems
