IT Service Operations Manager - Service Desk - Supplier Management - Vendor Management - ITIL - Northampton - IT Managed Services - £40,000-£50,000

I am currently recruiting for a IT Service Operations Manager to join a IT Managed Service provider based in Northampton

As part of the IT Service Operations Manager role your main responsibilities will be to:

Manage the services being provided to our client's internal business
Managed a small team of Service Desk Analysts responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line services to our client's internal business
Manage a number of large suppliers/vendors who are providing services into our client
Help implement and improve ITIL best practices and processesTo be successful in your application for the IT Service Operations Manager role you will have:

A strong background in IT Service Management
Managed teams responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support
Demonstable experience of managing 3rd party suppliers to ensure the business recieved excellent service and value for money
Have managed large suppliers such as Microsoft
A good understanding of Infrastructure technologies
An ITIL certification with demonstrable experience of implementing change controls
A background in Managed Services is desirable but not essentialThis role is paying between £40,000-£50,000. A degree of flexible working is also on offer (1-2 days a week)
