Our client, a high achieving and prestigious organisation is currently recruiting for a Curriculum Manager.

This is a pivitol role in supporting students with succesfully applying to top universities across the world.

The Role

1 University selection and student counselling

- Assist students with their selection of universities and courses;
- Keep abreast of university courses, entry requirements, open days, application deadlines and admissions tests;
- Serve as a general resource for students, parents, and teaching faculty regarding admission criteria and college data;
- Have a thorough understanding of students' university preferences and path so they are fully aware of the options available to them;
- Gain a thorough knowledge of the application processes of universities around the world;
- Provide guidance, resources and teaching tools to navigate the college search and application process;
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of colleges and universities, which includes making regular visits to colleges;
- Meet individually with student(s) and parents/to explore and identify appropriate university/college/course options;

2 University applications

- Identify and allocate students to mentors for admissions tests and interview preparation;
- Educate students on appropriate interviewing techniques, self-assessment tools, and application essay writing/personal statement techniques;
- Build and maintain relationships with university admissions professionals;
- Share information with students and families about college admissions and financial aid or scholarship possibilities;
- Guide students and others in understanding and utilizing UCAS/Naviance/or other worldwide systems, the college admission data management system;
- Liaise with student mentors and tracking performance on university admission tests.

3 Child protection, safeguarding and Health and Safety

- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact;
- Maintain good order and discipline among the students and safeguard their health and safety both when they are on premises and when they are engaged in authorised trips or activities;
- Understand and uphold the Government's statutory guidelines of 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' in accordance with policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

- Educated to degree level
- In depth knowledge of the UCAS process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle a range of competing demands
- Excellent IT skills
- Able to prioritise and respond effectively to new challenges at short notice
- Highly organised approach to work

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or overseas equivalent
