Job DescriptionDescription of the job :You will be responsible for deputizing the lead of the Airframe Process Methods and Tools transnational team and providing technical solutions to various programmes. The Airframe Process Methods and Tools team guides actively the Design (Airbus & Risk Sharing Partners) teams to use the design, process, tools defined by the function. You will have an active role as part of a transnational team for the end to end PLM portfolio managed according to SAFe methodology. Being either a representative in the end to end PLM portfolio steering, or the value streams or large solutions governance body. You will be responsible to put in place the right people in the agile teams, and provide the necessary steering according to SAFe way of working principles. You shall have an operational/industrial experience of the deployment and usage of 3DX platform from engineering to manufacturing to develop and industrialize an end to end solution within Airbus. You will be joining a self-motivated and growing Engineering department, with the opportunity to work as part of a truly transnational team. You will be based from Airbus' Bristol, Filton site (UK). Task & accountabilities :What do we expect from you? You will demonstrate leadership and manage a transverse team on six Airbus sites under his/her responsibility and Ensure an efficient, transnational consistent operational support- anticipating the change impacts and avoiding problems with the operational teams ensuring quality. You will be acting as the function representative in the definition of the PM&T strategy. In particular, on how to adapt PM&T with respect to the 3DX platform strength and weaknesses. In addition, you will have to have a broad experience in design, simulation, numerical optimization, and ideally an experience in manufacturing. The objective being to take into account manufacturing constraints and to work jointly with manufacturing. You will act as the function representative in front of the customer for planning, risk and cost analysis taking over full responsibility on these fields within the scope of his/her competences. The PMT Organization is our face to our main customers and it influences the core functions reputation and image! In general, your typical day will be varied and stretching a mixture of technical challenges, cunning solutions, group communications and people development. What's the nature of the job? Ensure the delivery of the PMT according to SAFe principles. Ensure that the PMT delivered will fulfil the company performance expectations.
