Role Overview:

Reporting to the Learning Technologies Manager, the Digital Learning Developer will provide hands-on, practical support to the Academy team for the creation of new digital learning content and the maintenance of existing content. The post holder will support the delivery and adoption of the Academy's digital learning programme through the development of effective digital content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new digital learning content
  • Maintain existing content
  • Prepare content for translation into multiple languages
  • Ensure all digital resources meet Academy quality and design guidelines
  • Ensure course assets are catalogued and stored correctly

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Power-Point
  • Knowledge of how to create effective digital learning, including learning design principles
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative and adapting to changing situations
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, taking opportunities to develop skills
  • Demonstrates a positive, pleasant and diplomatic manner (ability to build strong relationships)
  • Motivated to complete tasks on time and to the required level of quality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Naturally flexible approach
  • Excellent communication skills
