Caribbean & USA Luxury Travel Consultant required on a full time permanent basis for a very well established and award-winning Luxury Tour Operator in their modern office in South Manchester. This nique role within the specialist Caribbean & USA Reservations department has become available for an exceptional travel professional that has worked within the travel industry, ideally in a similar role within Tour Operating OR individuals from a tailormade Retail Travel background that have excellent knowledge of The Caribbean & USA destinations.

Caribbean & USA Luxury Travel Consultant will in brief: -
  • Sell Caribbean & USA luxury destinations to all their clients both direct and to travel agents.
  • Achieve your individual sales and margin targets - monthly and annually
  • Ensure that you assist your team to achieve the monthly financial targets
  • Work as a valued member of the team and assist colleagues in their absence
  • Maintain your own personal level of expertise, both technically and product knowledge
  • Report and assist to solve all impact issues for your geographical area.
  • Ensure that you are asking for the sale at every available opportunity - and to accept coaching and feedback to help achieve same
  • Provide exemplary customer service at all times.

Benefits of working as a Caribbean & USA Luxury Travel Consultant include: -
  • Working in their modern office in South Manchester
  • An excellent basic salary of up to £19,939 plus monthly bonus scheme
  • Working normal office hours Monday - Friday and 2 in 4 Saturdays between 9am - 1pm, paid as overtime
  • 23 days holidays, plus bank holidays

Suitable candidates for this Caribbean & USA Luxury Travel Consultant role will:-
  • Have experience in a similar role within the travel industry OR work as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent within leisure travel looking for a new career challenge but with solid knowledge of The Caribbean & USA
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and administration skills.
  • Ideally have some knowledge of using a GDS system ideally Galileo but Amadeus and Sabre or Worldspan will also be considered.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of reservations and administration systems within the travel industry.
  • Have a good understanding of the current travel marketplace.
