Are you an experienced and passionate CAMHS Nurse, seeking a new opportunity working with children, young people and families within the community of Lancashire? Are you looking for great hourly rates of pay, working with an agency that supports your career development? If so, read on!

We are looking for a CAMHS Nurse with previous experience in working with children and young people to begin work as soon as possible on a full time basis in Preston. As a Senior CAMHS Practitioner, you will be expected to play a key role within the mental health care provision for children and young people across the North Lancashire footprint.

This role is available immediately and is likely to be extended beyond October.
Full or Part Time considered.
Operating hours of the service are Mon to Fri 9am - 7pm
Hourly rates of £18.00 - £23.00 per hour.

As a CAMHS Nurse your duties would include:
- Complete comprehensive assessments of young people
- Creating and delivering evidence based care plans to address the presenting needs.
- Complete self-harm assessments for young people deemed a risk to themselves and collaboratively implement robust risk management plans with the systems around the family.
- Referral triaging, ensuring that young people are signposted, where necessary to partner agencies for further support.
- Working as part of a multi agency team is paramount.
- Successful applicants will be required to co-work effectively with colleagues and maintain good clinical records and data collection.

Minim requirements for this role are:
- A degree in Mental Health Nursing
- Valid NMC Pin
- Experience working with children and young people
- Driving Licence and access to vehicle preferred but not essential.
