Role Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the Retail Product Launch & Go to Market activity of relevant product launches within IM Retail, ensuring the execution of all product launches is to time, within budget and executed with excellence in all applicable channels.

This position would suit candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about new technology, who understand the retail environment and can work to an exceptionally high standard. Working alongside the Retail Product Launch Manager and reporting to the Senior Go To Market Manager you'll would be responsible for key elements of the delivery of best in class execution of products across up to 4000 retail stores and contact centres.
We are looking for flexible individuals as working hours may vary occasionally. A challenging and exciting role where there is excellent opportunity for progression.

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility

* Supporting with budget management & forecasting
* Day-To-Day GTM operational support
* Support the Retail Operations team with the forecasting and management of retail display devices
* Develop & maintain key relationships with agencies and Marketing Vendors used for GTM activities
* Briefing agencies on relevant GTM activities
* Work with key suppliers to ensure the correct security/cradles are used for each new product launch
* This will include adapting and understanding any new categories of products that Samsung may launch. i.e. wearables
* Support with the briefing, creations and printing of POS requirements for GTM activities, and product launches.
* Ensuring POS is delivered and installed on time in all channels, and meets the Samsung guidelines
* Create presentations and supporting plans for all product launches that can be shared with our internal operations team as well as key GTM stakeholders in the wider business.

Person Specification

* Strong IT & also Excel skills with knowledge of how to analyse data and create reports to show results.
* Excellent eye for details, can identify trends and patterns of information and can communicate findings in a clear and concise manor.
* Ability to see issues before they arise and plan for contingency.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Building and maintaining effective working relationships with in our house teams as well as external vendors
* Advanced PowerPoint creation for varying presentation types

* Maintain an expert understanding of Market trends, competitor activity & consumer buying patterns.
* Adhere to company and client policies, procedures and compliance.
* Planning and prioritizing own time efficiently and effectively.
* Confidently present action plans & strategies to key stakeholders.
* Strong IT Skills (Excel & PowerPoint are essential)
* Strong communication skills
* Good inter-personal and communication skills. Hands-on approach.
* Self-sufficient and able to work under pressure
* Flexible and adaptable with ability to work in diverse cultural environment
* Enthusiastic and passionate about retail
* The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
* Eager to tackle challenges and change with limited information
* Full driving licence

This role will see you working for Blue Square whilst supporting Samsung.
