Are you hardworking, ambitious and interested in joining a leading financial services organisation whilst working towards a professional accountancy qualification? Whether joining us from school, college or looking for a career change, you'll be building a career that counts, from day one. You will have real responsibilities, and start studying to become an Accountant.

If you choose a Lloyds Banking Group Apprenticeship, we'll inspire you to embrace your passions, discover where your strengths lie, and empower you to make an impact in your own way. You will undertake your learning, with additional support, as a mix of live online tuition and work-based training and assessment, whilst engaged in paid employment. Our Finance team sits within one of 4 key hub locations for Finance and undertakes a wide range of finance activity including:
  • Daily processing and control
  • Monthly and yearly reporting to regulators to support the Group
  • Delivery of assurance on the underlying financial information
  • Production of internal and external reporting for the Bank


Our Apprentices gain experience in one of our sub-teams who are responsible for processing, reconciling, analysing and reporting on key data and results for the divisions. The role provides the opportunity to build core finance skills and experience through a mixture of formal and on-the-job training, we are an agile business and modern flexible working is encouraged. Throughout your apprenticeship you'll have access to and support from your Training Assessor and Line Manager. They'll work with you to create a development plan to match your own needs and learning style. You'll gain all the knowledge you need - plus the confidence to use it.

We are looking for motivated, ambitious individuals who have the dedication to shape their own development. A skilled planner with a keen eye for detail and looking for a career in Finance.

Key Attributes

Do you hold 5 GCSE's grade C or above including English Language or Literature and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)? Please note: a completed Level 3 Apprenticeship provides equivalent evidence of achievement for the purposes of application to this Programme.

In addition to your academic achievements, you should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
