Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager on a 12 month maternity contract to assist with the management and delivery of day to day marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
* Uphold and implement SEO-driven marketing strategy and marketing communications planner
* Generate leads from new customers from digital marketing channels, tracking sales revenue from enquiries across the product portfolio and other marketing analysis
* Drive in-house SEO across all company websites and any digital activities with third-party sites, measuring performance with SEMrush
* Copywriting for all websites, press releases, emails, news articles and social media with consideration to SEO objectives
* Maintenance of all company websites and their Content Management Systems, as well as use of performance tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Search Console
* Creation and co-ordination of all email marketing in MailChimp including technical newsletters, training courses, conferences and ad-hoc promotional emails
* CRM data champion, managing and maintaining all contact data in accordance with GDPR on Goldmine CRM, and ensuring consistency of data between MailChimp
* Design and creation of engaging promotional artwork for departments and events such as business cards, flyers, brochures, posters, banners and stand wraps using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator where necessary
* Management of social media channels Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
* Market research and competitor analysis, reporting findings to senior management and commercial teams
Skills / Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a marketing/business related subject
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a marketing manager, ideally within a fast-paced B2B/small business environment
* Experience of multi-channel marketing, creating and implementing campaigns simultaneously using digital channels including email, web, social media and third parties
* Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts to promote a business
* Experience with website performance and SEO tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdWords and SEMrush
* Experience with creating and sending emails in MailChimp with a solid understanding of GDPR for B2B audiences
* Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator design software am advantage
