We are now looking to recruit a Transport Compliance Coordinator for our Iver South depot in Slough.

The Role:

Joining our team, the Transport Compliance Coordinator will manage the Transport Compliance within the unit enabling the efficient and effective operation of the fleet in accordance with company, customer and legislative requirements. You'll take full responsibility for the administration of the logistics department; operating all computer systems in an appropriate manner.

The Transport Compliance Coordinator will monitor Driver's working time against actual pay by ensuring start and finish times match tachograph records. Periodically and by way of audit, you'll check our fleet of vehicles to ensure they have all the correct paperwork within them. This will include O'Licence disc, RPC certificate, insurance, defect book etc.

Additionally, you will continually develop the SOPRA's (Safe Operating Procedures - Risk Assessments) and ensure all training matrices are up to date, accurate and current.

Our Ideal Transport Compliance Coordinator:
  • Experience of administration within a transport office environment
  • Interest and knowledge of heavy goods vehicle operations.
  • Knowledge of office priorities and control procedures.
  • Complete knowledge of GV262 drivers' hours and working time directive.
  • An understanding of waste carrier legislation and of O' Licence compliance requirements
  • Numerate with good computing skills to include Microsoft office programs Excel, Word, Access Office365
  • Experience of working with the road haulage compliance
  • IOSH certification or similar
  • Full UK Driving Licence
