REED are working with a fantastic employer in Norwich (North) recruiting for a QHSE Coordinator to join the team on a permanent full time basis.

Working hours of Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (flexi time potentially available)

Salary of £20,000 plus company benefits

Key responsibilities

Day to day coordination & development of the QMS & associated documentation.

Day to day coordination of the NCR (Audit / Inspection) databases and provision of monthly performance statistics for inclusion into the QHSE Board Report.

Coordination of the QHSE Internal Audit programme.

Arrangement of the communications and support material for the monthly OHSE focus campaigns.

Day to day management of the S.A.F.E card system, arrangement, coordination and record keeping of the S.A.F.E meeting, ensuring cross functional representation.

Management of the 'Lessons to be Learned' database and close-out.

Raising of QHSE related purchase orders to support the delivery of QHSE budgets.

Coordination for the company first aid provisions across all UK sites.

Auditing of QMS to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Assimilation of environmental data for inclusion into the QHSE Board Report.

Support the preparation and delivery of the QHSE Board Report.

Support in the arrangement of QHSE team travel requirements.

Abide by all statutory requirements including those related to Health & Safety

Understand and comply with your responsibilities under the Company's policies and procedures in place from time to time, including all those relating to HR and Health and Safety

Any other duties within the scope of the post holder's competency as agreed and on occasion.

Any other reasonable duties as directed by Head of QHSE & Business Improvement or Company Director within the scope of the post holder's competency.

Person Specification

Desirable: Level 3 QHSE or Recognised Auditor qualification

Desirable: A desire to introduce new methods to improve customer orientated solutions

Strong administrative and coordination experience

Experience working in a team and independently

Experience of successful client facing interactions

Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Powerpoint

Strong communication skills with ability in influencing others, able to interpret and respond appropriately to varying communication styles of others

Ability to collaborate with others and operate comfortable at all levels

Strong interpersonal skills

Reacts to project amendments and changes promptly and efficiently

Able to remain calm under pressure and deal with changing workloads, deadlines and timelines

Problem solving and analytical skills

Committed to self-development

Able to persevere and remain calm when dealing with challenging situations

Must demonstrate 'turn agility' and and able to 'learn on the fly' and apply new technologies
