As the leading women's lifestyle events brand for this luxury, consumer audience, the Senior Account Manager will be joining a small but successful team to provide event and exhibition solutions to leading, Wedding and Bridal fashion brands, to help them get closer to its customers in a unique market.

Your role as Senior Account Manager will form part of a small, friendly and successful team where you will be encouraged and supported to think outside of the box and use creatives ideas to close new business and drive revenue. You will also manage a large client base and seek opportunities to increase revenues from your existing clients. You will need to be a target-driven individual with excellent negotiation and customer service skills. You will need to display high levels of account management to your existing clients, as well as build quick rapport with new business prospects.

In this role, your duties will be to:

- Provide a high level of robust, thorough and reliable management to your existing client base.
- Up-sell existing clients by package upgrade or by cross-selling into other areas of the portfolio, such as our consumer magazine and website, where opportunities arise.
- Achieve and exceed individual monthly team & individual sales targets set.
- Contribute ideas and look for opportunities that will assist in growing and developing the business.
- Attend shows which take place throughout the UK; both internal exhibition and competitor events.
- Contribute ideas and develop opportunities that will assist in the growth of the business and the events.
- Attend competitor exhibitions - for example, fashion events, gift shows or lifestyle events - in order to sell face to face and obtain further insight.
- Liaise with the Features Manager to assist where possible in contra deals that may be beneficial for the show content.
- To use spreadsheets, Floorplan Live system ledgers & CRM to log client packages and keep track of availability across the event products.
- Ensure queries and credit requests are dealt with within 2 days of receipt.
- Undertake any other relevant duties as specified including admin support, and any other duties which may arise as a result of business change & growth.
- Work closely alongside magazine/digital sales team to share leads and secure advertising revenue from exhibition clients.
- Face to face sales meetings with clients and agencies.
- Help to mentor and assist the more junior members of the team so they feel well supported; lead by example.

To be a successful Senior Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

- Commercial experience in a similar role, ideally within a media environment.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
- Outstanding negotiation & organisational skills are essential for this role.
- Experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- As a natural people person, you will love engaging with new and existing clients both face to face and in person and continually seek to support their business growth ambitions, being a true business partner ensuring a great customer experience at all times.

In return, the Senior Account Manager will receive a salary of up to £33,000 + Uncapped Commission.
