Although a standalone role, there will be lots of input and collaborative work from the whole team. One of the major projects that you will be working on early-on will be their own website which is currently under construction with a re-design, so you will be able to make your mark straight away. You will have the opportunity to mould yourself into the developer you aspire to be through problem-solving and utilising your initiative. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining bespoke websites Assisting with the design and branding of websites from mobile-up Liaising with clients, and maintaining and building client relationships Due to the nature of agency work, you will be required to switch jobs and projects at the drop of a hat Required skills: A degree or proficient experience in a relevant topic Solid understanding and practice in Web Development PHP WordPress JavaScript HTML, CSS, jQuery Ability to design and edit graphics (Adobe Creative Suite preferred) Enthusiasm and genuine interest in keeping up to date with the latest technological trends Able to work under pressure, sometimes in a very fast-paced environment Able to keep up with multiple projects ongoing at any one time Desirable: An interest in mobile applications Experience/interest in developing a CMS Benefits: A competitive salary A permanent and secure role 20 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays) Potential for flexible working (situational) Experience in a huge range of brands from a vast range of industries NOTE: Some of their bigger clients come from the motorcycle and motocross industry, so if you have an interest in cars, bikes or mechanics in general, you could be the perfect fit.
