Prestige Nursing + Care is one of the largest care agencies in the UK. We have over 30 branches nationwide that are a mixture between company owned and franchise branches. An exciting opportunity has now arisen to join the Sleaford branch.

The Field Care Manager is to ensure that local care delivery meets quality and compliance requirements; and to manage existing, and grow new local carer capacity, so that income targets are achieved.

Reporting and principal internal relationships
  • Field Care Manager will report to the Care Team Manager
  • You will manage a team of field care supervisors and carers (Home and Healthcare) within a specified area

Your success will be judged by your ability to
  • To ensure that carers are fully capable, in terms of knowledge, skills, training and on-site support, to provide service user care which meets behavioural, safety, quality and compliance requirements
  • Through highly visible local leadership, maximise the utilisation of carers, new and existing
  • Be a key part of the team in bringing on new business, operating as the local ambassador for Prestige services

  • A determination to ensure that Service Users experience high quality, and safe, service

Problem solving
  • Able to prioritise multiple problems and then decide on appropriate action
  • Ability to, where appropriate, put in 'holding solutions' whilst full solutions are being developed

  • Identifies and enables people's skills and potential to achieve results

Team working
  • Highly collaborative relationships with Recruitment, other FCMs, Business Development, and Registered Manager to ensure that carer capacity is always maintained to at least budgeted levels and defined processes are followed

  • At least 3 years' experience in personal care and nursing service market, ideally in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience of working independently and ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively to meet KPI's
  • Working knowledge of CQC standards and regulated activities
  • NVQ Level 3 or above (or willingness to work towards)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undertake out of hours on call duties according to the requirements of the business

The successful candidate will be flexible and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
