An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join this dynamic growing business. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the day to day accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and well organised.

Main duties will include:

Purchase Ledger

·Raising purchase orders and send for approval

·Matching GRN/purchase order with invoices in sage

·Processing invoices for authorisation

·Resolving any supplier queries

·Posting correction journals

·Preparing weekly payment run

·Allocation of payments

·Prepare CIS monthly returns

Sales Ledger

·Raising invoices and send to relevant persons.

·Creating new accounts

·Monitor credit limits

·Chase overdue debts via email/telephone/letter

Staff Expenses

·Prepare expenses in excel (Monthly).

·Check against receipts.

·Import expenses into Sage

Company Credit Card

·Send transaction list to relevant staff

·Input in excel

·Check against receipts

·Import into Sage
