We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Team Manager to join our Professional Services Team.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, the Project Scheduling Manager will manage three teams of Project Co-ordinators responsible for the implementation of multiple concurrent projects.

The main purpose of the team is to deliver successful projects in a consistent, efficient and customer focused manner.

The role will cover all software packages provided by IRIS and therefore flexibility in the delivery of different software offerings is required.

You will manage the daily operation and delivery of all IRIS software packages using project management processes, standards, deliverables and operational requirements to ensure consistent project execution for all products in the most cost effective way.

This role is critical to the successful operation and future growth of the Professional Services Team.

Although you can be based out of our Leeds, Peterborough or Langley (Heathrow Approach HQ) office, travel and staying away from home will be a requirement.

Some of the main accountabilities will include:
  • Manage the co-ordination team, overseeing the smooth delivery of all projects.
  • Be first point of escalation during project implementation.
  • Taking ownership of projects to completion.
  • Provide and maintain resource plan, allowing for seasonal variations and develop mitigating action plans for project co-ordinators resources.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, achieving a realisation target of >70%.
  • Planning, monitoring and controlling project lifecycle to the agreed budget of the team.
  • Working with the wider Professional Servcies team to create consistant relevant project documentation for each project.
  • Ensure CRM/PSA is up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain good communications with customers, resources and third parties to assure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Defining, booking and managing resources required to deliver the project.
  • Helping to implement best project processes and structure.
  • Ensures documentation and relevant systems are kept up-to-date reflecting project activity.
  • Process weekly & monthly reporting to ensure all projects run smoothly
  • Identifying Risks and Issues associated to the project.
  • Help co-ordinate new initiatives/offerings and produce supporting documentation.
  • Measure Scheduling Team performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • To provide constant and consistent direction and support to the team.
  • Perform regular 1-2-1's with the team and quarterly reviews.
  • Maintain a high level of team morale.
  • Provide training/assistance/advise to team members as and when required.
