We are committed to helping keep the nation's bones stronger for longer and are the only UK-wide charity dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. Communications Specialist - The Role: Reporting to the Brand and Campaigns Manager this role supports the development, implementation and evaluation of the charity's communication, media and campaign activities. Influencing internal and external audiences from advising colleagues on communications to approaches to journalists. You could find yourself at a high-profile fundraising event liaising with a national or regional media press office or helping shape one of our consumer facing bone health campaigns. Alternatively, you could be developing some key content about the latest news in osteoporosis and bone health for a consumer title. You might be planning a public awareness campaign with colleagues in the Communications team or working on some new promotional materials. You'll certainly be making sure that our various channels have compelling and engaging content. This role involves occasional travel and is based in the charity's offices, Camerton, near Bath.
