Customer Support Helpdesk / Technical Support Helpdesk (Plumbing technology)
My client, an engineering innovator with an established reputation for excellence has a fantastic opening for a Helpdesk Support Technician to provide 1st class after sales customer service and technical support on its portfolio of plumbing & pump products.
You will join a professional helpdesk team, answering a range of technical customer questions on product selection, performance, cost, availability, pre-dominantly by phone, but also email, website or in the post.
This will also include identifying any call trends to the Manager, and reporting any customer concerns, feeding back any market intelligence, taking spares orders, and entering the calls onto the internal CRM system.
You will keep up-to-date on the product portfolio, so there is the potential to become a product specialist, over time, and with training.
This is not a call centre helpdesk where you just log the calls for another to call back, but an all-encompassing service and support role.
The position is office-based, but may include very occasional customer visits.
To apply, you will have a knowledge of plumbing, (could be through working in the industry, trade/DIY outlet etc or qualification), along with experience within a customer support /helpdesk/ call centre environment, with good customer service and telephone skills, PC literacy and the ability to work in a busy environment.
You must be living within a reasonable commute of Henley-on-Thames.
In return, a starting salary of £22k is offered +discretionary profit related bonus up to 8% +25 days hols+full product training+pension+free parking+perm health
