My fantastic client are currently seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our creative and established agency.
Working in a high-energy environment with a commitment to personal and professional growth. Their client portfolio ranges from successful local SME's to world-leading organisations.
The Digital Marketing Executive will play an important role in driving the agency's digital marketing offering. Reporting to the Client Services Director they will be a highly analytical person that has proven experience in digital marketing with specific experience in demand generation activity online.
Key requirements will include:
-Strong knowledge of organic and paid search -setting up campaigns, managing paid accounts, optimising performance, reporting on performance, tracking activity impact and driving traffic and increasing sales.
-Knowledge of the broader paid space media either through application or management of digital executives
-Good knowledge of technical SEO - helping to gain favourable results through natural search
-Knowledge of demand generation funnels and a willingness to work towards lead generation targets.
-Understanding the role of content in the digital marketing mix
-An obsession with data and analytics and how to utilise this insight and act upon it
Desirable skills:
-Knowledge of the latest email marketing techniques and tools to support trigger marketing campaigns, lifecycle communications and targeted campaigns based on applied segmentation
-Good social media experience. Can demonstrate experience of platform management and use of social media tooling, recognises the role of social media platforms in the sales process across paid, earned and owned channels.
-Experience in managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
-Experience of marketing automation tools, CRM and e-commerce platforms
-Experience of communicating with clients to convert marketing strategies and deliver campaign results
Internally, the Digital Marketing Executive will work alongside the rest of the account team to ensure that they are embracing digital in every aspect of their role and to help bring them up to speed on the latest digital initiatives.
Success in this role relies on combining a high level of digital knowledge and skills with an aptitude for analytical analysis and the ability to interpret the data and act on it.
The Digital Marketing Executive will also work closely with sales teams, helping them identify opportunity with their accounts, whilst using their knowledge to identify opportunities for general digital marketing activity.
The Digital Marketing Executive will be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines and needs to present a calm and ordered manner when dealing with clients, partners or internal colleagues. They will also need to have thirst for knowledge to ensure that we keep up to date with the latest digital technology and implement it as required.
A successful performer in this role will:
-Analyse all available client data to identify potential risks or flaws before suggesting solutions
-Use the appropriate language and writing style to influence the recipients of the message
-Go out of their way to share information, expertise and learning with colleagues
-Use different strategies to deal with unexpected obstacles when engaged in marketing activities
-Track and monitor performance against plans and agreed objectives
-Be lead generation and sales-focused
-Manage a number of simultaneous tasks and projects by prioritising effectively and monitoring progress
-Make sound decisions under pressure
-Think of new approaches to adapt and improve existing processes and practices
-Work closely with their colleagues to deliver the plans
-Monitor the key competitors and make relevant colleagues aware of any important findings
-Structure ideas and information in a way that is likely to achieve acceptance and cooperation
-Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to your work and your colleagues
-Draw data from a variety of sources to improve decision making
-Systematically collect all the relevant information to identify the root causes of a problem
-Set high targets for Customer Satisfaction and measure results regularly
-Work towards defined targets and strive to exceed them
