Purchase Ledger Job in Bournemouth

Our client is an established, market leader within the leisure industry and they are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. Reporting to the PL Supervisor, you will be working as part of a small team processing a high volume of invoices covering multiple ledgers, matching delivery notes to invoices and dealing with supplier queries. For this role, you will have previous purchase ledger experience and enjoy working in a high-volume environment as well as having good computerised accounts and Excel experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Logging, maintaining and filing invoices
  • Payment authorisation and payment processing
  • Investigating queries
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Manage administration processes

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Previous experience working within purchase ledger
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 200 and confident user of Microsoft systems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Organised and efficient and strong administration skills

Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary £22,000 - £24,000 DOE per annum
  • Working hours Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm (no weekends!)
  • 20 days holidays
