We need you to help us do this.Why this role mattersNetwork Planning and delivery Manager is accountable for the overall resourcing strategy to meet the team commitments and for ensuring the programme is delivered to agreed milestones. The Network Planning Manager is accountable for developing engagement across the unit through challenging and supportive leadership, evaluating performance against standards and coaching the teams to deliver business objectives, time, cost and quality. This role is also responible for the live implementation designs and planning of Mobile IP NetworksDriving transformation and improvements to develop automation capabilities to simplify processes and increase efficiency of live deploymentsWhat you'll be doingOwns the resource management, planning and delivery for Mobile IP, as per business agreed timescales. Responsibility for managing requirements and outcomes of network delivery into the operational community.Owns and delivers Mobile IP planning and design live implementation.Designs and drives improved working process for efficient live deployment. Own the network delivery of portfolio/release from the concept to market. Deliver requirements by ensuring production of a robust and achievable design and delivery plans. Owns decom and closure of legacy networks. Manage delivery change control at work stream / Network delivery level and determine on acceptance or rejection of changes to an agreed scopeProgramme delivery against milestonesManage relationship with supply and delivery agentProactivity in driving engagement and organisational health of the unit, supported by direct reportsWork stack review and prioritisation with associated resource managementImprovement in skills and capabilities of self and team, through mentoring and/or coaching and/or knowledge sharingManagement of the team (direct and extended) to ensure performance standards are achieved. Accountable for team size 8-15. We'll also need to see these on your CVDriving efficiency and scalability through the re-use of network designs and ongoing in-life operation of designs across the overall network platform and/or customer experience solution. Provide techno-economic design analysis that will influence the commercial direction. Ability to co-ordinate multiple parties (e.g. suppliers, internal units/teams etc.) to identify, define and resolve design issues. Will provide technical guidance to others. Likely to influence the sourcing and selection of bespoke technology and/or components within a major part of the platform and/or customer solutionVery strong communications skills, able to forge strong relationships with direct reports to develop and maintain a culture of personal improvement and pride within the direct team.
