Community Fundraising Manager Circa £25k DOE Horncastle and covering Lincolnshire Do you have experience in fundraising, marketing or community engagement and have a passion for making a difference? An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client for a Community Fundraising Manager to join the team of a Lincolnshire charity that is dedicated to saving lives in a 999 emergency. Fundraising is a vital lifeline, ensuring our client can continue to support their volunteers and staff and be there in every community, when the emergencies happen. Our client is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Community Fundraising Manager who is confident in building relationships with a variety of customers and clients, including community groups and individuals, to work right across Lincolnshire raising more and encouraging more people to take part in what they do. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working towards targets and deadlines with the ability to work with financial KPI's. You will enjoy working independently and as part of a team, you will be driven and focused as well as being an excellent communicator and relationship builder. You must have skills to tackle planning and prioritising your time. Using all these attributes, you'll play a vital role in helping to build a plan to ensure or client makes an impact in Lincolnshire delivering financial and non-financial objectives through a network of local supporters and volunteers. As a Community Fundraising Manager, you will work with local supporters including, individuals, community groups, volunteers and corporate supporters to drive awareness of the vital work our client does and how each supporter can make a difference. You will help supporters to maximise their fundraising and ensure you recognise the difference they make. Your role will have a key focus on building on some existing relationships, working with our large network of volunteers and providing the very best in donor stewardship on key relationships. Personal Specification Bring oodles of experience in a fundraising or marketing role to the party, it might be useful if this was in a charity, or in healthcare The ability to manage your own workload You will care about the work they do and understand its importance and do everything to raise the funds needed, investing some of yourself in their shared mission and take responsibility for shared success You'll act with integrity at all times Be committed to cooperation and collaboration, both within and outside the organisation A proven track record of delivering programmes, projects or events and have outstanding communication and presentation skills both written and verbal. A flexible approach to hours and a willingness to undertake other tasks or responsibilities to support the team as appropriate You'll have boundless enthusiasm and energy, be reliable and trustworthy, and be able to drive. You'll also need DBS clearance. You may have worked in a marketing, fundraising or sales role or within community engagement. Note: You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application and the work will also require some unsocial and out of hours working, and you should have full access to a vehicle. There will be a requirement for flexible working to support evening and weekend events: you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.
