A specialist mental health rehabilitation facility in a rural setting on the outskirts of Northampton is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse with a background in mental health to work as Deputy Nurse Manager.

The modern service provides locked rehabilitation to males of working age with chronic mental illnesses and is currently fully compliant with all CQC requirements. Long term rehabilitation, occupational and rural therapies are just some of the therapies on offer.

What our client is offering and details of this Deputy Nurse Manager position:

* A permanent position working 37.5 hours per week

* A great annual salary in the region of £32,000 to £40,000 depending on experience

* Day shifts only, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of the service

* 7 weeks annual leave per year

* Ongoing training and development opportunities

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in the day to day running of the service, managing, monitoring and evaluating care and treatment programmes in addition to participating in direct patient care. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the nursing team, working to ensure the best possible standards of patient care and safety are maintained.

The skills, experience and qualifications our client require in a Deputy Nurse Manager:

* NMC Registered Nurse - Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD branch

* Experienced in a mental health setting

* Demonstrate proven experience in a clinical leadership role, ideally within the mental health sector

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to effectively lead, develop and inspire a team
